BELTROL-2 ESC’s uses any low cost Park Flyer 2.4 Ghz R/C equipment.
We have tested and approve the following 2.4 GHz R/C systems for use with BELTROL-2.

Each locomotive will require one RX plus one or the other of the ESC's listed below.
As noted above there are two groups of R/C systems. Group "A" and Group "B".

The BELTROL-2 ESC’s are designed for advanced operation.
There are five different BELTROL-2 ESC’s which are tailored to suit different situations.
The BELTROL-2 ESC’s have an LED on the pcb & directional constant brightness lighting outputs. When the loco is switched ON these lights show that the automatic sense for signal neutral has worked properly.
BTL2-PnP ESC is a 3 amp Plug’n’Play installation for all AC® & Bachmann® locos standard sockets.
Non PnP ESC's are installed using simple screw terminals for the wiring connections.

BELTROL-2 ESC’s are listed by volt-amp ratings. Same reliable hardware as our well known RCS equipment.
SOUND SYSTEMS: Use OMEGA ESC’s as is with most sound systems. SIERRA® requires the # SSI-12v5.

BATTERY VOLTAGE:
All battery packs state a NOMINAL voltage on the pack.
When freshly charged the actual voltage can exceed the NOMINALvoltage.
eg. An 18 volt Ni-Cd pack can read 24 volts when fully charged.
BELTROL takes into account the excess voltage when batteries are freshly charged when listing what is the maximum voltage you can use.
Likewise the NOMINAL voltage also takes into account the likely voltage drop when discharging.
It is the NOMINALvoltage on the battery pack that is the maximum & minimum voltage you can use.
The pcb’s have appropriate heat sinking. A cooling fan may be required for use at higher voltages & temperatures.
NB. THE POWER RATINGS ARE BASED ON 15 VOLTS. HIGHER VOLTAGES MAY REQUIRE FAN COOLING.

THE BELTROL ONE YEAR GUARANTEE IS CONDITIONAL ON THE ESC BEING INSTALLED AS PER THE BELTROL INSTRUCTIONS. DAMAGE CAUSED BY MISUSE WILL BE OBVIOUS TO US & IS NOT GUARANTEED.
IF YOU BLOW IT UP & TELL US HOW YOU DID IT, WE MAY WARRANT THE ITEM ANYWAY.
THE PWM OUTPUT OF THESE MOTOR DRIVERS SHOULD NOT BE USED WITH ANY DCC DECODER EQUIPPED LOCOS.
