What is BELTROL?
BELTROL is short for BELT CONTROLLER.
The system is designed to simulate the walk around Beltpack® locomotive control system that real life engineers wear on their belts & use when yard switching on full size 1:1 Rail Road’s.
BELTROL is a totally new way of controlling large Scale model trains.
BELTROL has true Digital Proportional loco speed control. Creep along or highball it.
You will need only ONE low cost 2.4 GHz TX to control ALL your locos.
For extra locos simply purchase another low cost RX plus a suitable ESC.

Four channels of a 5/6 Channel R/C are required for operation.
One channel is spare for two more sound trigger functions using an optional extra # 2-M-F.
WHAT THE TX LEVERS ACTUALLY DO.
The Elevator stick controls Direction set with a press & release for forwards or reverse. Variable momentum control allows precise application of Brake Apply & Brake Release.
The Throttle stick provides digital proportional control of the locomotive speed.
The Aileron stick controls two accessory functions such as Whistle/Horn & Bell.
The Rudder stick can control two extra functions such as Notch 8/Drift and Dynamic brake/Blowdown etc, by adding an optional extra # 2-M-F.
The Ch # 5 switch (or knob) fitted to most 2.4 GHz R/C systems is used for programming various features such as speed calibration, default direction, speed matching & system re-set.
