RCS # ECL-3r

Please note.  The RX's shown plugged in below are for illustration purposes only.
They are sold separately & not supplied with the RCS # ECL-3r.

2 x Part ESC available for most brands of 2.4 Ghz R/C.
The two parts are only 25 mm wide and will fit some H0 & 00 size locos and rolling stock.

The decoder part of the system is designed to accept the RX's plugged in upside down without the use of servo cables.

Some RX's such as the Spektrum 6210 now have servo pin spacing too wide for the socket on the decoder.
You can still use these RX's by separately purchasing the # DEC-ADAPT kit.

SPEKTRUM & PLANET R/C's are group "A" RADIOS.  They MUST use the "BTLvA1" Program.

Vertically mounting an RX can be inconvenient.
They can be set up for remote connection with the separate purchase of the # DEC-ADPT kit.

E-SKY & HOBBY KING R/C's are group "B" RADIOS.  They MUST use the "BTLvB1" Program.

BATTERY VOLTAGE:

All battery packs
state a NOMINAL voltage on the pack.
When freshly charged the actual voltage can exceed the NOMINALvoltage.

eg. An 18 volt Ni-Cd pack can read 24 volts when fully charged.
RCS  takes into account the excess voltage when batteries are freshly charged when listing what is the maximum voltage you can use.

Likewise the NOMINAL voltage also takes into account the likely voltage drop when discharging.
It is
the NOMINALvoltage on the battery pack that is the maximum & minimum voltage you can use.

Ideally "BINDING" the TX & RX together is done before installing the RX into the # ECL-DEC decoder part.
This can be done with any regular R/C RX battery pack and following the R/C maker instructions.
If this is inconvenient we offer, at extra cost, the # EX-LD which will enable "BINDING" away from the # ECL-DEC.

It is used like this:

The # EX-LD cable can go in any socket of the RX and # DEC-U.
They must be the same way around.  Orange wire to the middle.

RCS # ECL-6r

Please note.  The RX's shown plugged in are for illustration purposes only.
They are sold separately & not supplied with the RCS # ECL-6r.

2 x Part ESC available for four different brands of R/C.

As there is a bridge rectifier on the ESC we advise using a couple of more volts than normal to compensate.

*We recommend using a 5 volt fan when using the the RCS ECL-6r at higher voltages.
